automobile We've been designing automobile dealerships since the early 90's. Our clients include many of the major auto dealers in the Chicago area: Grossinger Auto Group, Patrick Dealer Group, Pauly Honda, Resnick Automotive Group, Bob Rohrman Auto Group, Rosen Automotive Group and others. Our projects include a number of "ground up" facilities as well as many extensive rehabs and additions in Illinois and Wisconsin. We bring facilities up to date in many ways: Solving life safety and ADA issues, improving the look and feel of showrooms and customer lounges, exterior facelifts, reworking parking and site access and making facilities comply with manufacturer standards. All of these things are good for business.

commercialSince our founding in 1983, we have designed a number of tenant buildouts for law, accounting, not-for-profit and marketing firms as well as different types of medical practices. We've also designed office buildings, retail strip centers, infill buildings and retail interiors. Our feasibility studies have helped owners and developers analyze prospective buildings or raw sites to determine the impact of zoning and other regulations. We also consult for Coops and Condo boards, assisting them in the review of designs from shareholders/owners.

residentialIn the early years when our firm was New York-based, we designed many Manhattan apartments on Central Park West, West End Avenue, Park Avenue, and other areas of the city. Since relocating to the Chicago area in the late 80's, we have designed many rehabs, additions and new homes, primarly in Chicago and the metro area. We work in a number of vernaculars from traditional to modern to a hybrid of both. This is something that we feel distinguishes our firm from many others which tend to do one or the other. Our residential work has been published nationally and received awards.

Our approach to residential work is very client-focused. We work hard to understand our clients goals both stylistically and budget-wise. We establish a detailed Scope of Work at the front end of each project and modify it as necessary during the early stages of design to make sure we are staying on track. Using magazine clippings and showroom visits, we are able to incorporate owner input so that, at the end, the project is about our clients, not about us.
